Rogue Dead Guy Ale Review

Dario - I''m very happy to review this beer because it''s one of my favorites. Dead Guy Ale is a dark goldish/amber color that gives off a scent of the malts and hops (and it''s very easy to detect). It is very smooth taking down with malt afternotes. I would consider this a medium body beer with the sweetness helping alot. The malt afternotes are quite pleasant as well which sometimes tempts me to take small sips instead. It''s drinkable if it loses some temperature but I would advise drinking it as cold as possible. If you''re used to drinking lighter beer (i.e. Budweiser, Corona, Becks, et cetera) it might be a little harder at first to drink. I''d recommend this beer with cheese, after a meal or with a medium to full bodied cigar. It''s a great combo with cheese and cigars because it helps bring out some flavors in chesse (like Pepper Jack or Smoked) and cigars tend to compliment the beer. I suggest after the meal in the same respects as drinking port for the sweetness.
