Hello everyone, happy new year. First off, sorry for the lack of updates, the holidays turned out to be a lot more hectic then I thought. But enough with the excuses, lets get to the news. First the Cigar Rating Contest. Ok so here are the rules, first is that you must do 10 reviews to qualify (that’s only one review every 6 days), second we need at least two sentences, one on the cigar in general (construction, look, et cetera), and the other on the taste of the cigar (although we would prefer some description, just saying whether the cigar was good or not is fine). Now on to the good stuff, the prizes! We will have three winners if enough qualify, each winner will get 5 cigars from a list we will provide, first place will get to chose there 5 first, then second will get to chose from the remaining 10, and third place will get the remaining 5. This contest will run from Janurary 7,2009 till March 7, 2009 (and don’t worry the user Cubano is not in the contest). And now the reviews, I will be posting a review for the ML3 by Arganese. I will also post my takes on the Ario Legend by Camacho, La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial. I will also be post a review on the Xikar multitool.

Happy 2009! The Humibase team is back from the Holiday break. Frank will be putting an additional update later regarding the Cigar Rating Contest and other new additions to be added to the site. Sorry again everyone for the delayed reviews. Holiday stuff just kept getting in the way. Frank and I are still looking to do both the ML3 and the Camacho - El Legend Ario cigar reviews. Plus Frank already has the Chimay Blue review down and I have a Rouge stout as well. Hopefully within the next couple of days we can post these up.

Hey guys I just posted the Chimay “Blue”Review and also added the Rocky Patel Maduro, Rocky Patel Cameroon, and the Alec Bradley Retreat to the cigar database. Hope to have those other reviews up soon. **12/19/08** - Got the Camacho El Legend Ario Cigar Review up. I am looking to put the review of the Rouge Chocolate Stout up hopefully by tomorrow. Plus the ML3 is done, but Frank will post it next week.

OK so the baby is getting better, turns out she had pneumonia. So I am trying to catch up with all the reviews that I have done but had not posted. Today I will be adding my review for both the Cugine by Arganese, and the CAO LX 2. I hope to add the Aroma De Cuba Edicion Especial tomorrow as well as a review on the Chimay “Blue”. We will also be doing a review for either the Arganese ML3 or the Ario Legend this week. And in the next two days we will be posting all the information on our first contest, it should be good.

We got the La Aroma de Cuba review up plus two BWS reviews - Moscato and Budweiser American Ale.
I apologize for the lack of updates, Franks baby has been sick so he has been tending to her, while I have been looking at changes for the site and holiday stuff. Hopefully Frank will be able to add his reviews up for the week.
For next week, we might do the Ario Legend cigar and I might be able to pick up a bottle of Crown Cast No.16 but no guarantees on that. Hopefully everybody already got their holiday shopping done to spend more time enjoying themselves. Have a good week.
